Feel Better, Live Brighter

Neurodevelopmental Bodywork for Infants, Children & Adults.
Supporting regulation, reflex integration, and nervous system development through gentle bodywork.

About

Hi, I’m Prema Freites, a Licensed Massage Therapist based in St. Louis, Missouri specializing in neurodevelopmental bodywork and reflex integration support for infants, children, and adults.

My journey into this work began unexpectedly during a massage session of my own, when a therapist trained in MNRI® noticed patterns connected to retained primitive reflexes and how it was affecting my body. It was incredible! How could someone know so much about me just based on seeing these unintegrated reflexes? That experience opened the door to a completely new understanding of how the body and the nervous system work as a whole, it inspired me to begin studying reflex integration myself. That passion still burns bright to this day, everyday I get to work with amazing individuals and it just continues to add to the fire.

Over the past several years, I’ve continued my education through MNRI® coursework and clinical observation focused on reflex integration, sensory processing, movement patterns, and nervous system support.

I’m deeply inspired by how foundational primitive reflexes are to development and how much they can influence movement, regulation, learning, and overall well-being.

My approach is gentle, individualized, and centered around helping children, adults and families feel supported, safe, and more connected within their bodies.

I currently offer mobile sessions throughout the St. Louis area and look forward to continuing to bring this work to families across the Midwest.

Your Questions, Answered

  • MNRI® (Masgutova Neurosensorimotor Reflex Integration) is a gentle, body-based approach that works with the nervous system and primitive reflex patterns to support development, regulation, movement, learning, and overall well-being.

Primitive reflexes are automatic movement patterns that begin developing in utero and are present at birth. These reflexes play an important role in early development by helping build the neurological foundation for movement, coordination, sensory processing, emotional regulation, and learning.

As children grow, these reflexes are ideally integrated into more mature movement and nervous system patterns. Sometimes, however, reflexes may remain active or become dysregulated, which can contribute to challenges with coordination, regulation, posture, sensory processing, attention, learning, or stress responses.

MNRI® uses gentle movements, touch, and reflex-based activities to help support the nervous system and encourage more organized and integrated patterns within the body.

  • While I am a Licensed Massage Therapist, MNRI® sessions are not traditional massage sessions. This work focuses on reflex integration and nervous system support through gentle tactile input, movement patterns, and neurosensorimotor techniques performed while the client is fully clothed.

  • With five years of hands-on experience as a Massage Therapist, my work is grounded in a deep understanding of how the body holds tension, stress, and movement patterns. This background allows me to approach reflex integration not only from a neurological perspective, but through the lens of touch, regulation, and whole-body connection.

My sessions combine gentle bodywork with ongoing MNRI® training to support the nervous system in a way that is individualized, calming, and responsive to each child or family’s needs.

Because I offer mobile sessions, families are also able to receive support within the comfort and familiarity of their own home environment, helping children feel more relaxed, safe, and regulated during sessions.

I continue to deepen my understanding through ongoing education and clinical observation, and I’m passionate about bringing this work to more families throughout St. Louis and the Midwest.
